GrayHouse Media: an immersive 3D portfolio site that runs the business behind it

A creative studio needed a digital presence as bold as their work. We built an immersive 3D site with full-fidelity media that still loads fast — and a custom admin platform underneath it that runs their CRM, invoicing, portfolio publishing and client file delivery.

When GrayHouse Media needed a digital presence as bold as their creative work, the brief was harder than it first appeared. A studio that sells visual craft cannot afford a website that looks ordinary — and it equally cannot afford one that makes visitors wait.

What we delivered

  • An immersive 3D website with ultra-high-fidelity photo and video rendering
  • A delivery architecture that keeps rich media fast rather than trading one for the other
  • A custom admin platform: CRM, invoicing and quotations, portfolio publishing, private client drive
  • A stack engineered in-house end to end, from the React front end to the VPS it runs on
  • Security designed in from the first day, not bolted on before launch

The problem with beautiful websites

Heavy visuals usually mean slow websites. Every creative studio has faced the same trade-off: the work deserves to be shown at full quality, but full quality means large files, and large files mean visitors leave before the page finishes painting.

We did not accept that as a constraint. We engineered a deeply optimised delivery architecture that renders rich media and interactive 3D elements at full fidelity while keeping load times exceptionally fast. Creativity and performance are not opposites; treating them as opposites is simply a sign that the delivery layer has not been engineered properly.

The real power is beneath the surface

The site is the visible half. The half that changed how GrayHouse Media operates is the custom admin platform we built behind it, which turns the website from a brochure into a complete business operations hub.

One platform, four jobs

  1. Custom-built CRM

Clients and leads managed from a single dashboard, in the same system that publishes the work that attracts them.

  2. Invoicing & quotations

Create, send and track financial documents without leaving the platform or re-keying anything.

  3. Portfolio media manager

Publish new work to the live site in seconds. No developer, no deployment, no waiting for someone else to be free.

  4. Private cloud drive

Deliver finished work to clients through protected access rather than public links or third-party file services.

That last point is worth dwelling on. A creative studio ships large deliverables constantly, and most do it through whatever consumer file-sharing service is nearest to hand — which means client work sitting on infrastructure the studio does not control, behind links that anyone who receives them can forward. Bringing delivery inside the platform closed that gap.

Built on a modern, battle-tested stack

Every layer was engineered in-house by Regalia Solutions.

Architecture

LayerWhat runs there
Front endNext.js and React with Tailwind CSS — fast, responsive, pixel-perfect

Security as a foundation, not an afterthought

Hardened access controls, encrypted private client file sharing, and Cloudflare-protected traffic safeguard business data and client trust at every layer. For a studio whose clients hand over unreleased campaign material, that protection is part of the service being sold, not an operational detail.

Why this is how we work

We do not just build websites. We engineer digital platforms that look stunning, run fast, and power the business behind them. GrayHouse Media did not commission a site and separately go looking for a CRM, an invoicing tool, a media workflow and a file-sharing service. They got one platform that does all of it, built by the team that built the site.

Frequently asked questions

Can a website with 3D and high-resolution video still load quickly?

Yes, but only if the delivery architecture is engineered for it. Full-fidelity media and fast load times are compatible when assets are optimised, delivered from an edge network and loaded in the right order. The trade-off most sites accept comes from skipping that engineering, not from the media itself.

What is included in a custom admin platform?

For GrayHouse Media it covers CRM for clients and leads, invoicing and quotations, a portfolio media manager for publishing new work directly to the site, and a private cloud drive for secure client file delivery. The modules are built around how the business actually operates rather than to a fixed template.

Why build a custom platform instead of using off-the-shelf tools?

Separate tools mean separate logins, duplicated data and manual re-keying between systems. A single platform built around one business removes that friction, and it means the website and the operations behind it share the same data rather than drifting apart.
