Cookie Policy

1. The short version
This site sets a small number of things in your browser. A few are needed to make signing in work at all. The rest — analytics and advertising — are off until you turn them on, and if you leave them off, those scripts are never loaded onto the page in the first place. Not loaded and idle: not loaded.
2. Strictly necessary — always on
These do not track you and cannot be switched off, because without them the parts of the site that need to know who you are would stop working.

Our two session cookies are HTTP-only, meaning scripts running in the page cannot read them, and they are restricted to our own site so they are never sent to anyone else.
3. Analytics — off unless you allow it
If you allow analytics, we load Google Analytics 4 (and, where configured, Google Tag Manager). These tell us which pages people find useful, where they lose interest, and whether the site works properly on their device. We use it to make the site better, not to build a profile of you.
4. Marketing — off unless you allow it
If you allow marketing, we load the Meta Pixel and the LinkedIn Insight Tag. These let us understand which campaigns bring people here and show our advertising to people who have shown an interest in what we do. These are third-party services with their own privacy policies, and they may set their own cookies once loaded.
5. What "off" means here
Plenty of sites load their trackers regardless and then set a flag telling them to behave. We do not do that. Until you consent, the analytics and marketing scripts are simply not on the page — there is no request to Google, Meta or LinkedIn to intercept. Consent is asked for separately for the two categories, so you can allow one and refuse the other.
6. Changing your mind
Use the button in section 1 at any time, or the small cookie icon that sits in the bottom-left corner of every page once you have made a choice. If you withdraw a permission, we stop loading those scripts immediately; a page refresh clears anything already running. Your stored choice lasts 180 days, after which we will ask again — and if we materially change what we load, we will ask again sooner rather than relying on an old answer.
You can also clear or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking the strictly necessary ones will prevent you from signing in.
